They can form red or purple lines, and with an increased density of broken capillaries, a purple mark can form on the surface of the skin. Once created, telangiectasias cannot resolve spontaneously, on the contrary, they become more pronounced over time. There is no cream that can cure them. They can develop in otherwise completely healthy people, in people with varicose veins, as well as in people with some systemic diseases.\r\n\r\n \r\n<h2 id=\"headline-30-715\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dilated capillaries &#8211; Causes<\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe exact cause of capillary dilation is usually unknown.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe triggers can be:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n* Genetic predisposition\r\n* Long and <a href=\"https:\/\/dermatim.rs\/en\/tanning\/\">excessive sun exposure<\/a>\r\n* Pregnancy, contraceptives or overweight\r\n* Skin trauma, surgical interventions\r\n* Prolonged <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alcoholism\">alcohol consumption<\/a>\r\n* Intake of anticoagulants (blood thinners).\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSome diseases can cause dilated capillaries: <a href=\"https:\/\/dermatim.rs\/en\/dermatology-in-belgrade\/rosacea\/\">rosacea<\/a>, <strong>autoimmune connective tissue diseases, various congenital disorders, and liver diseases<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n \r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" class=\"wp-image-721\" title=\"dilated capillaries\" src=\"https:\/\/dermatim.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/dermatim-kapilari.jpg\" alt=\"dilated capillaries\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dermatim.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/dermatim-kapilari.jpg 800w, https:\/\/dermatim.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/dermatim-kapilari-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dermatim.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/dermatim-kapilari-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">dilated capillaries<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n \r\n<h3 id=\"headline-34-715\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is a treatment of dilated capillaries necessary?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n \r\n\r\nIt is necessary to contact a physician if they appear suddenly and in large numbers during a short period of time. This could indicate some of the above listed health problems. In most patients, dilated capillaries represent an aesthetic problem. Dilated capillaries can be found on the face or body.\r\n\r\n \r\n<h3 id=\"headline-36-715\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is it safe to remove dilated capillaries?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n \r\n\r\nIf an adequate method and a skilled physician are chosen, it is completely safe to remove capillaries that are dilated and represent an aesthetic problem.
