Hyaluronic acid fillers are gel-like substances used for filling wrinkles, facelift, deep skin hydration. The main ingredient of fillers is hyaluronic acid, a type of sugar that is present in most tissues of our body, joints, connective tissue, and skin. Hyaluronic acid is an intercellular fluid that has the ability to bind up to thousand times its weight in water. Our body uses it to hydrate tissues, as a lubricant, to enhance the immune response of tissues, and for reparation.
