Aptos skin lifting threads are the latest generation threads for non-surgical tightening, lifting and contouring treatment that can be applied on all parts of the face, neck and body. The threads are made of surgical absorbable material composed of a combination of poly-L-lactic acid and caprolactone, for additional collagen stimulation. Aptos threads – Which skin regions can be treated?
There are several techniques and methods to apply Aptos threads: Excellence, Light Lift and Nano Method.
Visage Excellence third generation absorbable threads with hyaluronic acid are used to lift and tighten cheekbones, eyebrows, chin and neck, jaw line.
Light Lift method uses threads in 3 shapes: Light Lift Needle to tighten the double chin and eyebrows with only one suture. Light lift Thread method with threads with two-way hooks is used for lifting eyebrows, lower eyelids, middle part of the face, chin with multiple sutures. Light Lift Linea method with threads with two-way hooks is used for lifting saggy cheeks. The skin is immediately tightened and the adipose tissue is redistributed.
Nano Spring method uses absorbable threads that retain elasticity after their application and stimulate collagen production. They are used to correct fine lines and wrinkles on the face: marionette lines, nasolabial folds, glabelar lines, wrinkles above the upper lip, to lift the tip of the nose and contour of the lips.
Nano Excellence method is used primarily to lift jaw line region, then the cheekbone area, double chin and eyebrows.

Non-surgical skin lifting – How are the threads applied?
Application of Aptos threads is performed by a plastic surgeon under local anesthesia. Threads are inserted through atraumatic round tip cannula, thus minimizing the possibility of swelling and bruising. The procedure is simple and quick, with a few days recovery period. After the procedure light redness, minor swelling and unevenness on the skin surface may occur but they do not affect patient’s daily activities. Immediately after the procedure, the skin is visibly tightened, and the full effect is achieved after 1-2 months. This procedure can be combined with other anti-aging treatments such as PRP, lasers, peels, botox.
